This morning I had put the oven on to heat up the last gluten free hot cross bun for a late morning snack. Thinking I could respond to a few emails while I waited, I went into my office, sat down at the computer and noticed a couple more emails had come in. I got totally engrossed in reading the emails and responding that I completely forgot about that last tasty leftover from Easter weekend. Before my conscious mind registered the smell of my hot cross bun reaching the point of no return, which is an even shorter window for gluten free products I find, I received this little nudge from my subconscious interrupting my conscious mind and telling me to get to the oven. To my delight, I opened the oven door and found the perfect golden brown finish and glistening raisins just ready to be savoured. I inhaled the sweet goodness and gave thanks to my subconscious mind that didn't give up on my snack but instead counted down from a timer that it had constructed from previous hot cross bun warmings. What an amazing function and to think this is going on all the time.

Think about it, consciously that is, what part of us knows how high to lift the leg when we climb stairs? What is it that remembers all of the facial muscles to move in expressing joy? Why do we react to certain situations in the ways that we do? All of these decisions, memories, processes, etc. are going on behind the scenes and are carried out at such incredible speeds, there is no time for judgement or pondering, that is the role of the conscious mind.

If we are only aware and conscious of a very small amount of mental processes, just think of how much else is actually going on. Wouldn't it be great to know which of these are positive, in that they support the way in which we consciously want to live our lives and which of those are negative; sabotaging or contradicting the conscious choices. Think of the conflict within our body that these negative thoughts or patterns could create. So how does one change and address this potential conflict. The first step is in being aware of these subconscious thoughts or patterns and bringing them into the conscious mind so that they can be re-written and amended. Observe the responses you have to situations and different environments, what are your triggers, which situations make you uncomfortable, angry, resentful, guilty, or just feel poorly overall. Ask yourself, Is this a rational and appropriate response? If the answer is no, then it is likely influenced by a stored response or experience in your subconscious. This is a chance to re-write the response and identify the pattern that exists.

Counseling, hypnotherapy and art therapy are excellent tools for assisting in this exploration. A professional in these modalities can assist in the identification of subconscious patterns or beliefs and facilitate their restructuring in a way that will best serve you. In working with reproductive health and fertility, it is so important to address the mind, especially the subconscious, in addition to the physical body. It is a recommendation in the treatment plans that complement the acupuncture and Chinese medicine here at Yinstill. The mind and body are talked about as separate entities but they are very much interconnected. The thoughts, patterns and beliefs will influence the physical body. Getting them to work together is vital to overall health and fertility.

As I finish off the last bites of my hot cross bun, that was perfectly cooked, I pay homage to my subconscious mind for continuing to monitor my snack even when I was consciously distracted. It was a great reminder of just how incredible the subconscious mind truly is and to spend time each day to observe the multitude of patterns and processes that are taking place every second of every day.

Your subconscious contains all of your memories, emotions, beliefs, programs, habits, preferences and drives. It controls all functions of your body, heals and balances you when you're sleeping. It is the gateway to your other dimensions of your being: your spiritual energy, past lives, akashic record, parallel lives, your mythic reality, symbolic reality, transpersonal reality. Your subconscious is really running the show. Or is it? Your subconscious mind has all this power, but takes its orders from your conscious mind. The thing is, most of us don't know this and give the subconscious mixed signals. So how good would it be if you intentionally let your subconscious mind know what you want and if you could understand the messages the subconscious was giving you?

Two keys to influencing the power of your subconscious:

1) Understand that your subconscious doesn't know the difference between what is 'real' and what is imagined. The classic example is to think, right now, of a lemon. A bright yellow, beautiful lemon. In your imagination, cut the lemon open and get a whiff of that lemon scent. Squeeze the lemon into your mouth and feel all the juice, tangy sourness, spreading through your mouth….. chances are, if you are really doing this exercise, by now you are salivating and you are really feeling the sourness of the lemon. Your subconscious treated the experience as real and your body responded.

2) Your subconscious speaks in images, feelings and metaphors. You were able to affect your subconscious mind only with the image of a lemon. So, to give direction to your subconscious it is important to visualize what you want. Also, be aware of the images and metaphors your subconscious is sending you to get your attention on an important matter, to guide you, warn you, help you. They can come in the form of dreams, images, hunches, songs that spontaneously go through your head and even words.

Your mind holds power that you probably wouldn't believe. There are so many websites out there promising the secret to unlocking the power of your mind but the secret is simple – you possess the power and the means of unlocking it already.

Here are 3 life-changing tips for unlocking the true power of your mind:

3. Delve beneath the surface

Your conscious mind is just the very tip of a vast pyramid of knowledge and wisdom that is your subconscious mind. It is estimated that we use only 10-20 % of our mind potential, with the great majority of our mind power remaining untapped.

Tapping into your subconscious mind is the way to access this knowledge and the most direct way to do that is to learn how to meditate.

There are many forms of meditation, but the guiding principle is the same. Meditation alters your brain patterns, changing them from the regular waking state of beta waves to alpha, theta and delta.
Alpha is the first altered state which is associated with light relaxation and the beginning of the meditation process.

In this state you will begin to be able to access your subconscious mind. In this state you will experience waves of creative thought and be able to see how ideas that may have seemed unrelated might actually be deeply connected.

Problem solving becomes easier and solutions deeper. As you progress with meditation you will gradually be able to access even deeper layers of your consciousness and the true power of your mind will be unlocked.
Meditation is easy to learn and can be practiced by anyone. The practice of meditation has many other benefits as well, which have been studied extensively over the past few decades.

Meditation leads to real changes in your brain with the physical increase in both white and gray matter. It also causes the release of a whole range of beneficial brain chemicals, increasing your feeling of well-being as well as improving your mood, learning capacity and memory, amongst other things.

As you progress down the path of meditation you will surely wonder how you could have survived so long without it!

2. Believe in your own power

Are you trapped by your own disbelief in yourself? Once you have learned how to access your subconscious mind, the key to unleashing your true power is to truly believe you have it.

Many of us are victims of ingrained beliefs from our school days – your achievement at school or any time past is completely irrelevant to your potential now.

As meditation helps you realize your untapped potential, so you need to begin to believe in your ability to put it into practice in your life.

1. Use the best fuel you can

If you had a Lamborghini you wouldn't fill it full of cheap, dirty fuel, would you?

If you want your mind to operate like a highly tuned, high performance machine, you also need to be very mindful of what you fuel it with. There has been a lot of research into the relationship between food and cognitive function.

You may wish to research this question further but there are a few important guiding principles. Avoid processed 'junk' food as much as you can and eat fresh food often.

Omega 3 oil should also be an essential component to your diet as there is excellent evidence in its' role in supporting healthy brain function. Include lots of antioxidants, like blueberries and foods high in vitamin C and make sure you exercise regularly.

The secret to unlocking your mind power is really no secret at all. As you acknowledge the wonder that is yourself and your incredible mind, you will be motivated to take good care of the gift that you have.
Meditation, belief, good fuel and exercise are the simple keys to unlocking your true potential.

Law of Attraction CoachThe Lord Buddha said "All that we are is the result of what we have thought", the Darby Bible Translation tells us that Job, 3: 25 of the old testament, declared, "For I feared a fear, and it hath come upon me, and that which I dreaded hath come to me." It seems that both Buddha and Job understood the eternal workings of the Law Of Attraction. However, unlike the enlightened Buddha, Job, like the majority of people today, suffered the dire consequences of not using this law to his advantage!

The Law Of Attraction at its very basic level states that everything is created by thought and that thought attracts to itself, physical things, people, situations and circumstances. Your thoughts are attracting these things in this very moment!

However, we do not just create and attract the material things that enter our lives, we also create the body we occupy, the personality we display and, ultimately, the person we are and we do it all through our thoughts. Are you creating the life you desire & becoming the person you wish to be or are you like Job and bringing upon you all manner of woes because you are giving your attention to them? Perhaps you are even identifying yourself as a victim and refusing to acknowledge the Law and use it consciously!

The Law Of Attraction is not as big a Secret, as the hit movie would have you believe. It has been around since the dawn of time and is an unbending, ever-present rule of the Universe. You cannot escape it! There is a great body of evidence that suggests mankind has known about, and utilised, the great Law for about 7000 years. However, the teaching of universal truths did become clouded for many hundreds, if not thousands, of years by greedy self-serving dogmatists that wished to keep control of the masses and was actually banned at one point.

It was largely at the beginning of the 20th century that the general public started to become aware of this great law due to the diligence, fortitude, integrity and grace of writers such as James Allen (1864-1912), Napoleon Hill (1883-1970) and Charles Haanel (1866-1949).

Wallace D. Wattles (1860 1911) was another pioneer of free thinking. In his great work "The Science of Getting Rich" Wattles states a great truth, "There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought." How revolutionary that statement was in 1910.

Haanel set out in a 24 part correspondence course, which is now condensed into one volume called "The Master Key System", a complete guide to successfully using the Law Of Attraction! It was banned by the Church in 1933 due to its revelations. This is allegedly the book Bill Gates read before he created Microsoft!

Napoleon Hill revealed Andrew Carnegie's great Secret to the world – that thoughts create things – when he wrote "Think & Grow Rich" in 1937 (although it had taken him 25 years to complete).

James Allen wrote his famous work in 1912 and in "As a Man Thinketh" he tells people that "mind is the master-weaver, both of the inner garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance, and that, as they may have hitherto woven in ignorance and pain they may now weave in enlightenment and happiness."

However, although the teachings have been around for thousands of years and they have been readily and easily available to the general public for almost a century the great majority of people do not take the time to learn the workings of probably the most powerful physical law in the Universe.

I think you owe it to yourself to delve deeper into this mysterious Universe and learn as much as you can about the laws that govern your life. When you truly understand the Law Of Attraction and begin to work with it for you personal advantage, I promise you, your life will change in fantastic, unexpected and unlimited ways.

Begin now to utilize this gift and construct in your imagination the life you really want to live. Seek out ways to remove your own inner resistance and limiting beliefs.

Start to use the Law Of Attraction today!

The Power of Not Knowing How - <b>Law of Attraction</b> Resource Guide

Posted: 29 Apr 2014 12:00 PM PDT

hiking-1Do you know the quickest way to kill a big dream? Or the "cause of death" of many a grandiose desire? What's the best way to sabotage yourself in getting what you want? Answer: thinking you have to figure out how to make it happen!

In Law of Attraction world, "how" is well-known as a four letter word. It's the most common way to shoot down aspirations before they get time to grow.

We do this to ourselves regularly – making the business of life much harder than it needs to be. Once we recognize a new desire, what's the thought right behind it? If it's not something about why it can't or won't happen, it's very likely anxiety about how to make it come true.

Last weekend I traveled to a part of my state I rarely visit for my boyfriend's three day golf tournament. Since golf isn't my thing, I recognized a "feel good" that was more in alignment with hiking. Although I was in a strange town with no gear, no familiarity with the area, no hiking friends, and no car, I announced I was skipping the tournament and going on a hike instead.

Considering the circumstances, a very natural thought at that point would be, "How am I going to do that?" Didn't look like events were lined up to make that easy to happen.

But I didn't get hung up on how. I stayed with my desire: I wanted to hike; I wanted to get some fresh air and exercise; explore new territory; and get some good time alone in nature. I didn't let worry about "how" it would happen stop me.

And in the absence of worry about how, I was able to find my way to action steps that allowed one of the best hikes of my life! I borrowed a car to look for the perfect hiking trail, which I didn't find right away. But I did find bottled water and a map, which then led me to a trailhead five minutes out of town, to a gorgeous hike with steep switchbacks and amazing views of the valley.

It was an amazing experience! The top of the trail opened onto a beautiful green meadow hidden from the valley road. Continuing through the peaceful meadow, I met two locals who tipped me off to a nearby and little known area of 2,000 year old petroglyphs. This hike was one of the most stunning, awesome, inspiring, humbling, unbelievably beautiful walks ever!

I could have been there, OR, I could have been back at the golf course watching a long tournament, because I didn't know how I could go hiking under seemingly restricted circumstances.

Where does "how?" stop you in life? What are you hung up on because you think it's your job to figure it all out? When you turn that responsibility over to the Universe (aka God, Spirit) and focus more on your desire than how to make it happen, miracles unfold!

Instead of spending valuable time working an "action plan" to reach your goal, consider spending a few of those minutes dwelling on the end result you want. Imagine what you'll experience, revel in what you want to create. Enjoy the anticipation of it now, and let that desire grow and then attract the solution to you.

After giving your dream some air time, all you need to do is take action that feels good. Forget figuring out "how!" It's a trap door. The Universe will show you the way when you let it. Trust, allow, and leave the reins in the Universe's hands. Then prepare to be amazed!

True <b>law of attraction</b> story: How to erase debt with the <b>law of</b> <b>...</b>

Contributor: Jeannette Maw of Good Vibe Blog.

Is it possible to magically manifest zero balances on big bills? Can you use law of attraction to erase or eliminate existing debt?

Absolutely!

Here are three stories of how it's been done, with specifics on processes used so you can replicate the process.

Case Study #1
$1,000 Legal Bill Erased

Earlier this year I got an attorney's bill for nearly a thousand dollars that I wasn't expecting. I thought my account was paid in full, but this invoice showed time documented that I hadn't paid for yet. Sigh.

It irked me that I would be out of pocket on another chunk of change that I already didn't appreciate spending.

Frankly, I didn't want to pay it. I thought about the consequences of that … collections, credit downgrade, creditor calls … ugh.

I let myself be mad about it for a minute (more…

I have seen miracles happen to men and women in all walks of life all over the world. Miracles will happen to you, too – when you begin using the magic power of your subconscious mind. This book is to teach you that your habitual thinking and imagery, mould, fashion, and create your destiny; for as a man thinketh in his subconscious mind, so is he.

Why is one man sad and another man happy? Why is one man joyous and prosperous and another man poor and miserable? Why is one man fearful and anxious and another full of faith and confidence? Why does one man have a beautiful, luxurious home while another man lives out a meagre existence in a slum. Why is one man a great success and another an abject failure? Why is one speaker outstanding and immensely popular and another mediocre and unpopular? Why is one man a genius in his work and profession while the other man toils and moils all his life without doing or accomplishing anything worthwhile? Why is one man healed of a so called incurable disease and another isn't? Why is one woman happily married and her sister very unhappy and frustrated? Is there an answer to these questions in the working of your conscious and subconscious minds?

Yes, there is! The miracle working power of your subconscious mind can make the difference. All you have to do is get hold of this wonderful, magical, transforming power, which will bind up mental and physical wounds, proclaim liberty to the fear ridden mind, and liberate you completely from the limitations of poverty, failure, misery and frustration.

(Thoughts taken from Joseph Murphy's Book: 'The Power of Your Subconscious Mind.")

Law of Attraction CoachThe more we learn about using the Law of Attraction consciously in our lives, the more we understand that our emotional state determines our vibrational frequency, which attracts the quality of experiences we have. With this knowledge comes the understanding that feeling good (happy, joyful, enthusiastic, optimistic) will attract more of the same into our lives.

But is it really possible to feel good all the time? How do we deal with life's little (and not so little) annoyances? Are we supposed to live in a state of denial and take on a Pollyanna attitude? What about the devastating life experiences that shake us to our core, such as the death of a loved one or a natural disaster? How is it possible to remain in a positive emotional state when laboring under feelings of grief and despair?

The short answer is: it's not only difficult, but also detrimental to us to do so.

Our feelings are real. Trying to deny them or smooth them over with blanket statements of positive focus won't help us resolve them at a core level. Instead, it's important to honor our feelings and work through them in a positive and productive manner. How? By admitting that we feel rotten, and allowing ourselves to feel that way. It's okay to feel angry, sad, or hurt when something awful happens!

The best gift we can give ourselves is the opportunity to feel our feelings, genuinely and deeply. When you feel sad about something, let yourself feel sad. Embrace the feelings, and move through them. Write in a journal about why you're sad, and express the feelings rising up within you. Write out your rage, your pain, your grief. Scream your fury to the universe. It is only by moving through your feelings that you can come out of them eventually.

Having said that, we must also reach a point when we choose to step out of our misery and feel hopeful again. We must eventually turn our focus to thoughts of healing and peace. Continuing to stay mired in pain for an excessive amount of time can be just as detrimental as denying our pain altogether. What is considered an "excessive" amount of time? Only you can say. Your grief process might last a few days, or a few years. Simply stay tuned in to yourself, your thoughts, your emotions, and you'll know when you're beginning to move out of the grief process.

What about the smaller annoyances we deal with on a daily basis? This is the more common struggle for most of us. How do we stay positive when facing traffic jams, rude people, misbehaving children, inconsiderate spouses, demanding bosses, financial challenges, and repeated feelings of frustration that we just can't seem to get it together?

Though these experiences seem overwhelming, they are actually the most simple to deal with if you shift your perspective slightly. The best tool I've discovered for dealing with frustration is the ability to choose what I focus on.

Let's use an example to demonstrate this concept. Let's say you're running late for work and you have an important meeting to attend when you get there. You dash to your car, praying for a quick, easy ride to work so you can be on time for your meeting. Shortly after you leave home, you run into a big traffic jam. Cars are moving slower than molasses, and you sit there behind the wheel feeling angry and frustrated because you know you're going to be late for your meeting, which will bring on some unpleasant comments from your boss, and probably ruin your chances for the promotion you were hoping to get. The more you follow this line of thought, the more angry and frustrated you will become. So what can you do to turn this situation around?

Here are the techniques I've found most helpful in frustrating circumstances:

1) Intend a different outcome. Remember that your focus will attract a corresponding result! You're already stuck in the traffic jam, so denying it would be futile. However, does the existence of a traffic jam have to bring about the negative consequences you envisioned? Not necessarily. You are making assumptions about what this experience will mean to you. If you instead choose to make it mean something else, you can actually change the outcome. How? Try affirming something like this: "Even though traffic seems to be moving slowly, I KNOW I will arrive at work exactly on time. The universe is working with me to create the most beneficial outcome possible." The trick is to put your full faith into this affirmation, and not let yourself become filled with doubt or worry. Then, any number of things could happen to support your new belief. Traffic might begin moving more quickly because the obstruction is cleared, or you might still arrive at work a few minutes late only to discover that your boss and several other coworkers were also late because of the traffic jam, so the meeting begins later than planned.

2) Choose to feel good anyway! This is a little more challenging, but the more you do it the better you get at it. Simply choose to turn your thoughts to a more positive place. Rather than dwelling on your frustration, find something to feel good about and focus on it. Think about your loved ones, pets, or friends. Recall a happy memory that makes you laugh out loud. Carry some uplifting audio books in your car so you can listen to them when you need a boost. Turn your attention firmly away from thoughts that increase your worry and irritation, and toward thoughts that make you feel happy.

It seems difficult to overcome negative thoughts and feelings, but it's really as simple as choosing your focus moment to moment, day after day. The more practice you get at feeling good overall, the more you'll find yourself able to step calmly over minor irritations, and deal effectively with bigger issues.

By Samantha Knowles

I wonder some nights if there is enough abundance in my life. I struggle with thoughts that I could do better, be better, that there could be more in my everyday life. Some days I wake up with concerns about success and if I can obtain success.

The connection between the mind and success isn't a recent discovery, nor is it a debated mystery among the scientific community. It is solid, proven fact that individuals who are able to maintain a mindset of success will go on to reap great rewards in their life, while those who approach each endeavor with the certainty of failure are doomed to crash and burn. Is this a self fulfilling prophecy? Is it simply coincidence? Or is there something more insubstantial at work? What Is The Law Of Attraction? The most debated point regarding the Law of Attraction is what, exactly, it is. Is it a mystical way of thought, or is there a scientific foundation to its existence? Is it fact or fiction? The details surrounding the Law of Attraction differ depending on who you talk to. Those who firmly support the theory of the Law of Attraction and its ability to bring abundance into your life will tell you that the Law of Attraction is based on the ebb and flow of positive and negative energy in the universe.

What exactly is attraction? Is it a mystical way of thought, or is there a scientific foundation to its existence? Is it fact or fiction? The details surrounding the Law of Attraction differ depending on who you talk to. Those who firmly support the theory of the Law of Attraction and its ability to bring abundance into your life will tell you that the Law of Attraction is based on the ebb and flow of positive and negative energy in the universe. Imagine if you will that the air you breathe is filled with hundreds of molecules, and along with representing different elements these molecules are also positively and negatively charged. When a large quantity of negatively charged energy accumulates it has negative effects, whereas an accumulation of positively charged energy will have a positive effect. Now, go one step farther and imagine that you have the ability to direct these positive and negative energies-subconsciously, of course.

The Law of Attraction states that when you approach a challenge from a positive mindset you will draw positive energy to you. This positive energy will the serve as a string pulling an entire network of other strings that makes up the universe, bringing an abundance of good things to your doorstep.

10 Facts of the <b>SubConscious Mind</b> | The Journey Continues

Posted: 20 Apr 2014 04:49 AM PDT

Our subconscious mind exerts a powerful influence over our lives. It preserves and runs the body. It stores and organizes memories, emotions, and energy. It controls and maintains all of our perceptions. Over 95% of what we do, think, and say comes from old programming in our subconscious mind.

1. Despite its power, the subconscious is a servant of the conscious mind. It follows orders by acting on whatever is fed to it. It cannot distinguish between what is real and what is imagined. It has no sense of humor and takes everything very literally. Your conscious mind is the gate-keeper. For personal power, you must be aware of what you are allowing into the subconscious. And you can intentionally program it to manifest what you want in life.

2. The subconscious mind responds with instinct and habit. As thinking and behavioral patterns deepen, they become habits and they become harder and harder to change.

 3. Use repetition, authority, and emotion to program the subconscious. Affirm and visualize often what you desire. Be strong, willful and in command. Draw on your passion and emotional power to affirm what you want, as emotions have a very strong impact on the subconscious mind.

4. The subconscious mind does not process negatives. For this reason, all affirmations and statements must be positive. Do not say, "I will not gain weight." The 'not' is not recorded. The subconscious mind only hears, "I will gain weight."

5. The subconscious represses memories with unresolved negative emotions. The memories will get buried, yet the beliefs and feelings associated with them will still control your reactions. This is why it is important to become aware of and resolve strong guilt, resentment, fears, anger, and depression.

6. The subconscious mind works with symbols and metaphors. Watch your dreams closely for symbols that will offer clues to underlying issues that need to be resolved.

Hypnotherapy And The Power Of The Subconscious Mind

Posted on 10/04/2014 Updated on 10/04/2014

When we have health problems, we will immediately go and see a doctor to seek guidance and help because none of us want to be unhealthy. But some of us (whether it is due to our cultural philosophy or way of living) will seek healing powers from alternative medicine providers to help solve our health problems. And if our health problems are overwhelming, then it may take several meetings with these health care providers so that they can diagnose, treat and remedy our health issues. With the advancement of human development and medical technology, more and more people are interested in using clinical hypnotherapy as a healing agent for health issues such as stress and anxiety which are common occurrences of modern living.

Research has shown that stress is widely believed to be one of the main causes of various diseases such as headache, back pain, high blood pressure, heart disease, depression. Stress and pressures of modern living can also affect our immune system, and this naturally can trigger variety of other diseases. In addition to resolving a wide range of health problems as mentioned above, hypnotherapy can often be used to compliment the healing process of different diseases, addictions, and psychological traumas as well.

The core essence of hypnosis is to be able to tap in to the source of personal power within each of us. Hypnotherapists simply help an individual realize this internal resource and assist in resurfacing self-healing powers of the mind and body so that an individual can utilize that unlimited internal power that lies buried beneath the stresses of busy lifestyle most of us live. Despite the popular misconception about hypnosis, a person receiving a treatment actually does not fall asleep to reveal their deep rooted secrets, instead, patient is always aware of their surroundings. Getting hypnosis is just like having a nice and relaxing massage therapy.
Hypnotherapy And The Power Of The Subconscious Mind

Hypnosis Can Reconnect the Conscious with the Subconscious Mind

Our conscious mind is the side that is associated with the logical aspects of our lives, and is related to our short-term memory; it is our logical thinking that makes us remember the things we have done before. This part of our mind always tries to make sense of everything we sense through our 5 humanly senses, through rationalization our minds always weigh, debate and reason as to how to self-preserve and survive. Although our built in survival instincts are very strong and powerful, it has limitation due to previous negative experiences.

Our conscious mind cannot make the necessary correlation with our inner feelings (humanly intuition) at will; it requires work, effort and practice. But through hypnotherapy, a hypnotherapist can actually help us reconnect our conscious thinking with our precious subconscious mind (inner guidance, intuition). This naturally will allow us to live more harmoniously and have greater control in our lives to positively arrive at a destination we call "our destiny". This is what hypnotherapy can do, allow an individual reconnect and make the link.

Benefits of Clinical Hypnotherapy

In addition to helping cure some disorders such as phobias, obesity, drug addiction, weight loss and smoking cigarettes, hypnotherapy can also increase our productivity as it not only can help reduce stress, anxiety, insomnia and pain, it can actually eliminate these conditions completely.

For example: if we are having issues such as anxiety, then we usually go and see our doctors, and we will usually be prescribed variety of medications to relieve pain or to overcome some problems associated with anxiety. But these medications are simply a relief and not a cure for the causes of these health issues; furthermore, all prescription medications have side effects in one form or another.

More and more people are benefiting from clinical hypnosis because there is no medication prescribed to you, nor are there any side effects apart from living a healthier life. Because clinical hypnosis can once and for all help you to rid your life from unwanted habits such as stress, insomnia, phobias, obesity, weight loss or drug addictions. Develop The <b>Power</b> Of Not Letting The Insecurities Of Others Get To <b>...</b>

Don't you love it when someone reach out to you because of a blog post or article you've written?

Well, I'll tell you that if the article in question happens to be one that discuss a very important social issue, not only you would be glad to extend a helping hand, but it would even motivate you to write another post. So this is what I'm doing here.

Few days ago I've received an email from a young woman who had just read my blog post about the effects of bullying which I have written almost a year ago.  She wrote me to ask for advice. She was saying that she had been bullied in the past in grade school, and that as a result of it she was struggling with self-esteem.

In her message she mentioned something very important. She said that she showed people the timid side of her for fear of confrontation and teasing.

As I looked back at my own years of being bullied, I realized that for the most part, the reason why we let people, step on us, spit on us, call us names, or even tease us in a mean and sarcastic way, it's because we want to avoid confrontation above all else. In her sentence I caught that most important word; "fear." Indeed, many of us, simply fear confrontation.

The question is WHY?

Why are we Afraid of Confrontation?

When I look back on my own experience with bullying, I can see very clearly now, that I was trying very hard not to be confrontational with my aggressors.  I realize that my fear of confrontation was due to the fact that I was convinced – I believed strongly – that confrontation was going to be more painful than endurance. Of course, I was wrong, but unfortunately, that's what young people who are being bullied truly believe.

Young people who let others bully them want to avoid pain, but by doing so, they are actually adding more pain.

This is due to the fact that our subconscious job is to always choose the easiest, less confrontational path.  So instead of facing the situation "which our subconscious mind believes is painful," we thus chose the next best thing, which is doing nothing and endure.

You see, our brain, our mind and subconscious mind, all of it, always try to avoid the most challenging path and opt for this easiest one, that's when dear old fear sets in, to prevent us from choosing the hardest, most challenging option that we have available.

One Important Thing to Remember

A close friend of mine, once told me that he was a bully nightmare, because he would actually defend people being bullied by confronting bullies. He scared the bullies, by coming out stronger than them. Not necessarily physically stronger, but stronger in energy, presence and personality.

In my reply to this young lady I said one of the things I always say when I speak of the subject of bullying. Aggressive people are exactly like aggressive dogs.  They will attack you if they feel that you're scared. If you have an aggressive dog and put two people in front of him, one scared and the other not, the dog is going to go for the scared one, and so is the bully.

It doesn't matter if it's physical, verbal or emotional bullying. It's all the same, it's always directed at the ones who are afraid and scared, and it's usually delivered by the same people – the bully type people.

When you are being bullied in any way, what you must remember is that, even though you may be afraid of confrontation, you're not the problem. They are.

As I have mentioned in my previous post on this subject, bullies are very unhappy kids (or adults) with enough issues to keep a therapist busy for a while.  Most of those issues are brought on by their parents, tutors, teachers, etc.  They are venting their own frustrations on others, thus they are attacking people that they feel are weak.

So, how can you get stronger and make sure you're never bullied again?

Being Confrontational doesn't mean to be Violent and it doesn't Hurt

Learn to understand that confrontation doesn't hurt, and embrace your fears.

You can confront someone who is trying to harm you either physically or emotionally by defending yourself in a non- violent manner. I know it can be scary, but embrace your fears. I promise it feels so good!

Actually, non-violent confrontation is much, much powerful than trying to get into a fight, but it has to come from within.  You need to build that strength inside you to be able to not only confront any bully by your inner strength, but actually not attracting them around you anymore.

As I was telling this young woman in need of advice, you can build that inner strength by doing few simple exercises, such as these…

1)     Affirmations in Front of a Mirror

Repeat affirmative positive statements in front of a mirror 5 minutes in the morning before you start your day, and 5 minutes at night before you go to bed.

Here are some great affirmations that if done every day for a while will do wonders for you:

  • I love you, I truly love you.
  • I love knowing that I am in the process of building my confidence more and more each and every day.
  • I love knowing that I am in the process of building my self-esteem more and more each day.
  • I wish the best to the people who are bullying me as I understand that what they are projecting is their own weaknesses and lack of confidence.
  • I love knowing that I'm actually much stronger than they are, and that I know better than them already, as I'm doing those affirmations.
  • I love knowing that I'm getting bolder and bolder, and speak for myself more and more.
  • I love knowing that my self-confidence and self-esteem are getting stronger each and every day.
  • The stronger I feel the more people love and respect me.
  • I rejoice that the (Universe) or (God) is giving me the strength and power that I need to feel confident and secure.

2)     Learn How to Practice EFT

You can also do affirmations along with EFT (emotional freedom technique) which I suggest you learn about and start doing on a regular basis. Go to my page where I explain what EFT is and how it works.

You can also find tons of videos on YouTube that will show you how it's done. EFT is easy, and it really works, because it touches two vital areas at the same time – energy and mind.

3)     Meditation

Try to meditate for 20 minutes each night as you lay in bed. If you need guidance with meditation, here again, there are plenty of videos online that will guide you with meditation. Every night I go to bed with my tablet and my headphones and do meditation for about 20 minutes just before I fall asleep.

Over time, meditation will empower you from the inside out. You will feel stronger, more confident, more secure and more in tuned.

Conclusion

Don't let insecurities of others get to you. You have the power to fight back in a peaceful, yet very powerful way. So if you are having some insecurity issues due to past or present bullying, don't sit there and accept this anymore. Take your power back, and see what happens!

Foundations Of The <b>Law Of Attraction</b> | Eva Gregory

Ever had to meet someone or maybe be at a place at a certain time but tloa3he person on the other end said they'll be a bit late so you had to wait for them, and you wished the traffic would be slow to work on your favour and it actually happened?
Ever been late and you wished the traffic was clear so you catch up with time, and it also happened?
Ever thought of someone and a few minutes later they called or texted you? Did you wonder how it happened or, did you even notice it happened?

The simplest way to explain that is by saying, "Thoughts become things." That's just what it is. It applies in all life's situations, and it works whether you are aware or not. Some people know how to use The law of attraction to their advantage and those who don't know refer to whatever happens as lack. Either good or bad. All things that do happen are your doing.loa4

When you put your mind to something, the universe has a way of aligning itself to provide that thing for you. There is enough for everyone. That is why so many people succeed in one thing. E.g, how many successful musicians do you know? Name a few.________ Since what the universe offers cannot be exhausted, anyone can succeed in anything, if they believe. Believe is however two way. Most people believe and have faith in God but do not believe in themselves, which is crucial because at the end of the day it's your success and not God's. God is already successful in everything.loa1

The law of attraction works for negatives and positives. You talk of not being able to do something and you fail in it. You talk of trying it out until you work it out, and you succeed. Even the bible talks of the power of confession. Confession brings possession. The law works in the exact same way. It can be to beat deadlines, have a great marriage( I know nothing about marriage), do well at school or any other thing.

Heard of "Write it down"? The advice is mostly given when one wants to achieve something, whether long or short term. When you write down something you want to achieve, you set a deadline within which to achieve it and when you see it everyday, it reminds you that you have to have it by then. No matter how big a dream it is, you begin to have ideas of how to go about it and finally get it done. That is because you attracted the ideas, and the universe made it possible for you.loa5

As long as you think, visualize and work towards something, you will always achieve it no matter how long it takes. Most people take that power for granted but fact is, it works! It is now up to you to use it in a way it will make your life better. All this includes a supreme being as well. God
I hope you've learnt something new.
God bless, have a smiley day :)
