Seymour is the creator of  ZenTouch™ Shiatsu massage and founder of the International School of Healing Arts in the USA and Europe. He will lecture on a different topic each Monday and teach a variety of ZenTouch™ Shiatsu massage and "body reading" techniques according to his unique approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

Deep Sleep
His topic for January 20 is Deep Sleep. Our conscious mind is aware of and controls only a mere fraction of our life's desires and outcomes. Learn to use your sleep to heal, create renewed vitality, and fulfill your goals and life purpose. Seymour may also share guided imagery techniques from his Nutri-Journey CDs.

Nutri-Journey is a self-help method designed by Seymour Koblin to teach us how to make nutritional choices that create radiant health for the body-mind-spirit. The use of specific guided imagery scripts, combined with recorded background music composed by Seymour, facilitate a state of awareness, which empowers us to make intuitive decisions that are integrated with the cycles of nature. This work is an innovative healing method based on the energy derived from working with our emotions. Honoring and channeling the power of our emotions can create a state of sound health and vitality. The body-mind-spirit develops according to the way we experience our feelings. Nutri-Journey guided visualizations can take us to the root of our emotional being beyond superficial emotions or repeated patterns or reactions. This work can help us experience the core of our inner nature. Surrendering to our emotions is the key to transforming our lives at the source – our Inner Being, our Soul.

Seymour graduated from the Shiatsu Education Center of America. He is certified by the Kushi Institute and the American Oriental Bodywork Therapists Organization. He authored Food For Life (1988), The Art of Zen-Touch™ (1998), and Shaping Our Destiny (2001); and he co-authored The Professional's Guide to Massage Therapy. He is the creator of the Zen-Touch™ Bodywork and Health Balancing System. Seymour teaches Zen-Touch™, Oriental Healing, Watsu™ and nutritional counseling classes and lives most of the year in the Czech Republic.

Miraculous Mondays Community Wellness Classes are open to the public and free of any fees. Contributions, which benefit the school's scholarship fund, are gratefully accepted and tax deductible. There will be a door prize raffle drawing each Monday.

Your <b>Subconscious Mind</b> Can Do Anything: How to Use Its <b>Power</b> <b>...</b>

superconsciousnessThe most important thing about the subconscious mind you need to know is that it is always "on". That is, it is active day and night, regardless of whether you are doing.The subconscious mind controls your body. You cannot hear this silent inner process with your conscious effort. You need to start taking care of your subconscious mind. It is vital to maintain your mind in a state of expectation of only good events and make the usual mode of your thinking based solely on loyalty, justice and love.

Faith and belief are the foundation of the subconscious. Do not forget that "you will be rewarded according to your faith".

A Protestant minister who suffered from lung cancer wrote about his methods of transferring thoughts of perfect health into his subconscious mind: "Two or three times a day, I put my body and soul in a relaxed state, repeating these words: "My feet are completely relaxed, my legs are relaxed. Right now my stomach muscles are relaxing. My heart is beating quietly, my breathing is calm and relaxed. My head is completely relaxed, my whole body is completely relaxed and calm." After about five minutes, when I got into a drowsy, sleepy state, I repeated: "The perfection of the God's plan finds its expression in me. My subconscious mind is filled with thoughts of that I have perfect health. My image is spotless before God." This priest managed to heal himself.

Here are some brief recommendations to help you use your subconscious power for your best:

1. Your subconscious mind not only controls all the processes of the body, but also knows the answers to the various questions and can solve many problems.

2. Before going to bed, refer to your subconscious mind with any specific request and soon you will see its miraculous power in action.

3. Anything that is captured in your subconscious will directly affect you in the form of emotions, circumstances and events. Therefore, you need to watch closely what thoughts and ideas govern your mind.

4. All experiences arise from unfulfilled desires. If you are "fixated" on various issues and problems, thus will be the reaction of your subconscious mind.

5. When you have a specific goal or dream, consciously repeat this statement: "I believe that the power of the subconscious, which gave me this desire, will embody it in me now."

6. Stress, anxiety and fear can disrupt the natural rhythm of breathing, heart rate and work of any other part of the body. Cultivate in your subconscious mind thoughts of health, peace and harmony, and all the functions of the body will return to normal.

7. Fill your subconscious with expectations of the best experiences and emotions, and your thoughts will become a reality.

8. Imagine a positive outcome of your problems, fully feel the enthusiasm from what has happened. All your fantasies and feelings are clearly accepted by your subconscious and then implemented in life.

A New Way Of Life Using <b>Subconscious Mind Power</b> |Subconscious <b>...</b>

We all remember the movie Fields of Dreams, with the 'If you build it they will come.' Consider your subconscious mind as your field of dreams where if you THINK it, it will come. Asking yourself 'what will come?' The answer is, whatever you want to come.

Basically, if you can conceive it in your subconscious mind, it can come true.

The power of the mind is a beautiful thing, honestly. The mind has the power to heal us, to transcend us. to make us feel good or make us feel bad. The subconscious mind power that each of us have is enough to completely change the world. if we all would only take control of that power.

Lets look at a few examples of subconscious mind power at work. One of the best examples is well known by most people already. This example is offered because the results have been documented so many times. It is of course the Placebo Effect.

The placebo effect is where a study occurs with two different groups. One group receives the medication that is 'the real deal,' while the other is simply a placebo.

Both of the groups are told what the medication is for and what it should do. Neither of them know if they are getting the real medication or the placebo.

Subconscious mind power comes into play here and in many studies, both groups of participants will report almost exactly the same effects.

Simply, these patients believed they had gotten the medication, so their subconscious minds produced the medication's effects to at least some degree.

Or, let's take another example. Perhaps you've gone to the doctor to get a medication for something that's wrong with you. You may have noticed that although a doctor will tell you what the side effects are, he or she will usually minimize them to at least some extent.

Doctors don't want to throw out all the negative aspects of taking a pill. Doing so will leave you either not wanting to take it, or ending up with the side effects even if they are unbelievably rare due to your mind acting on the information.

What do these two examples above prove? That the power of suggestion AND the power of the subconscious mind will give you a very powerful results.

Seriously, if we already see it work on a medical standpoint, it needs to be used in everyday life. Is it possible? Of course it is, which is why you see so many people strutting their stuff down the street and enjoying their successes.

While focusing on your positive thoughts of the inner mind is a good approach, others tend to take a different route. In today's world it seems that most people turn to using visualization to alter the way their mind sees things. This is can either be done by closing your eyes and picturing it, or see it in the flesh.

Now an alternative way is to actually create a physical picture. Find a photo or picture of the new house or car or whatever you want.

Hang that picture up where you can see it every day. The more you see it, the more you will imprint that vision of yourself with the car you want in your subconscious mind. And because your subconscious mind is so powerful, it will eventually make that become a reality.

This has been common knowledge for years, but we're just now starting to put it into action. Well, some of us anyways, others have already utilized their secret potential hidden within the subconscious mind.

As physicists know, at its essence all matter is made of pure energy and there is evidence which suggests that our minds may be able to influence this energy.

There is an idea which comes from quantum physics that says that matter isn't set into a particular state unless or until there is an observer there to see it.

So matter/energy only exists because it is being observed; in other words it is the mind which is responsible for the matter existing - not the other way around.

So mind power is what creates everything! It is not as we have always believed that our thoughts are created by energy and matter.

There is a huge difference there as you can see and it's what makes the power of your subconscious mind so wonderful. The person who thinks positive is focusing on the big picture as opposed to the 'right now.' However, this is just a small indention of how helpful this can be to changing your life for the better. There is so much out there that we've missed as a society that was practiced thousands of years ago.

What it comes down to is figuring out whether or not it's for you. If you could change your life by thinking about it, wouldn't you at least try it? Just try it out for the next week by simply using the affirmations process.

Start by using visualization techniques and affirmations to focus your mind on your life goals. Start small; as you develop your subconscious mind power, you'll be able to achieve ever greater things in your life.

Begin Using Affirmations Every Day

I know this may seem obvious to you, but are you really using affirmations every day? Are you seriously attempting to change the way you think?

By constantly repeating affirmations over and over to yourself, you are tapping into your self-conscious mind in a way that changes the way you think. If you say the right messages to your mind over and over again, you will begin to incorporate these things as part of your daily life. You will be able to change your thought patterns and make your life so much better at the same time.

This does not need to be difficult. Spend a certain amount of time each day going over the most important affirmations in your life. Since I don't know you and I don't know what you care about, I really can't recommend any affirmations at this time.

But you know where you need the most help. You know where you need to change the most in order to get your life back on track. Create affirmations around those areas and make sure that they are extremely positive and thought provoking. Make sure that they will change the way you think in a positive way.

One of the best ways to get your life back on track is through repeated affirmations. Louise Hay of Hay House changed her entire world by using affirmations on a regular basis. She's been teaching about them for the last 40 or 50 years. And she is one of the richest women in the world.

Are you ready to wake up to the power of affirmations? They really do work, but you have to stick to it as long as it takes. Don't give up after a week. Don't quit after a month. Don't stop doing them after six months if you don't feel any different. It may take you a year. It may take you five years. It may take the rest of your life, but they will work and if you keep at it eventually these affirmations will get through to you.

But that's only one aspect of tapping into the self-conscious mind. Let's take a look at another…

Visualization Is Another Key to Tapping It to Your Subconscious Mind

In today's world, visualization is often difficult because of all of the distractions and things that are constantly taking up our time throughout the day.

You may have a million emails that you have to answer, or at least you think you have to answer them. You may have 20 books that you want to read. 50 TV shows that you want to watch. 100 movies that have your attention.

This makes visualization difficult. We are so distracted all the time in this world that it's hard to sit down by ourselves in a quiet room and get comfortable. But you really need to learn how to do this if you're going to tap into your subconscious mind. It's one of the major keys to success, and it will change your world for the better if you practice this on a regular basis.

Here's what I recommend you do…

Find a quiet time within your home to sit down and practice visualization. Make sure nobody is home, or if they are home make sure you are in a room where you will not be disturbed.

Then sit back and close your eyes. Think about all of the good things that you're trying to get out of life and really focus in on the things that pop into your head. Pay attention to what is running through your mind, because it may be giving you clues as to what you are truly looking for in this world.

This is a great way to master visualization. If you use this method every day you will eventually tackle this topic.
